I'm using this in a RAID 1 NAS together with an identical drive I bought from CCL a few weeks ago. All working fine.

Runs great, I'm in the process of backing a bunch of stuff up and it's handling all I can throw at it. Love the inflatable jacket it was shipped in, good stuff.

I have a 9 year old desktop initially provided by Chillblast still working perfectly and have recently increased storage capacity with a couple of new hard drives from CCL. Perfect I am a member of Bradford Movie Makers and we are using the 4 to archive old films. In swappable bays. Then they will be burnt to M-disks. Usual great serve from CCL.

The hard drives arrived the next day after I ordered them, and were very well packed, the price was a little under the competitors, and so far have proved completely reliable. They are now installed in my HP Server as part of a 4 drive redundant setup. I actually bought 4 of them.

Probably one of the most boring products to look at, but then we don't buy HDDs to look at. I have to say that this new Seagate drive is surprisingly slimmer than the previous HDD I've had to replace, so that should aid air circulation inside a NAS. Delivery from CCL was very prompt, with the HDD itself extremely packaged, bearing in mind it's internal mechanism. No doubt at some point in the future I'll probably have to replace another of the older HDDs in the NAS, but at least I know exactly which one I'll go for.

Love this product, i bought this because i got very tired of having to uninstall a game then install another one due to having no space. It took a little while to setup but it seemed easy, i'm now able to have more games added from my games library. Thanks a bunch! Will be recommending CCL for PC component needs.

Lots of storage space for little cost. Drive is fairly quiet and transfer speeds ok.

Good value, used in my NAS which works as a Steam Cache and backup server.

Very quick hard drive with fairly quick read/write speeds of 160MB/s. Also extremely quite for a spinning disk, can barely be heard when operating.

Sensible price for the amount of storage, securely packaged and with extremely prompt delivery to boot. What's not to like?

General use hard drive from Seagate. Good price for the capacity. Plugged into motherboard SATA connectors, switched on and it was recognised instantly, no need to do any more. I've been working it hard over the last month and it's still running nice and quiet with no issues.

Not died in about 5 mouths, still going strong as my primary files drive. Full load transfer speeds are okay for a spinning rust drive, response time again not bad.

It's a 4TB HDD that is now installed and working. Longevity???? An unknown. I have used Seagate drives on previous occasions and will probably do so again.

The Disk is a bit slow, but its what you can expect from a 5400 RPM HDD. I use it to store my games library, while my OS is on a smaller NVME M.2 SSD. Boot times for the games are adequate, and there is plenty of disk space available in 4TB. If you need a large storage drive soon, I would recommend this. However, the price of SSDs and HDDs have been falling for years by a significant margin - if you can wait, I would. Two years ago the price was the same for half the storage, and I expect this trend to continue.

Big of a pain formatting it. had to search internet for solution. 4tb internal drives do not format on MBR shame support were not helpful (WEB live chat) Almost returned for refund due to this.

Replaced a 1 tb that was just not big enough now and it out performs it in every way. Access speed, read/ write performance and noise all way better than I expected. Would definitely by another soon
