The HDDs were well-packaged by Seagate and are now working as expected as a RAID 1 pair in my QNAP network attached storage (NAS) unit, replacing onother brand's HDDs, one of which was showing sector failures. They were chosen for Seagate's HDD reliability reputation so, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Only time will prove this product's reliability in my application.

Good quality item which does exactly what you'd expect it to do... Not the cheapest, but no problems with CCL Ordering/delivery; which is a welcome contrast to certain of their competitors!

Arrived earlier than expected and was well packaged. Good value too, as used drives of this size weren't much cheaper. I've already installed about 400Gb worth of games and it's running absolutely fine. Load times obviously aren't lightning fast, but it's plenty fast enough for what I use it for. Would definitely recommend as a drive for installing your games on.

Absolutely horrible harddrive, slowest piece of crap ever, this was installed on a new build and when I put my old drive in using the exact same cables there was no issues at all. Gone straight into the bin, will be avoiding seagate like the plague in the future.

Using both purchased drives in a Startech enclosure set up as a " Mirror " Raid Easy to setup and format as mirror drives in disk manager. Using as data backup especially for Video files, freeing up much needed space on the boot drive Very pleased with the drives performance as well as the price, using them on my Windows 7 machine. I already have the same setup on my video editing Wndows Ten Pro machine

I've been using Seagate HDs over many years and, as usual the one I bought meetsmy requirements admirably and I would recommend it to anyone needing a HD replacement or addition.

Great hard drive, using it to store my games on. Obviously not a quick as an SSD but, very good value for money and a good storage size.

The original order was for two items. Only one arrived! This is not good service.

Fast HDD at a good price when compared to other HDDs. However it does give a light burrrr when not in use, bit louder than my case fans at lowest speed, but have set windows to turn it off when not in use after a short time. I feel at this time HDDs are still too expensive when compared with the most basic SSD. No comment on length of life as only been using it a month.

Rock solid, fast enough for running everyday things or using as a longterm storage for media. Yeah it will be noticeably slower than an SSD for video games or storage intensive editing suites but you already know that lol. That is not what this drive is designed to do. For everyone else this is a cracking deal.

Not many things come down in price these days but cheeper than when I last bought one 18 months ago. Good low cost drive with a decent sized read, write cache, 7.2K speed and 2 year Seagate warranty. Can't go wrong and I'll be getting a couple more to finish populating my NAS.

Great value for money for storing videos and steam games, which work a treat running off it. Runs almost silent, would happily buy another.

Product was as expected. CCL Computers and Royal Mail were brilliant. I chose the free delivery rather than pay extra for next day delivery. I ordered the item at 2:00pm CCL packed and dispatched it that day and Royal Mail delivered it at 11:00am the next day.

Solid HDD, Can't complain at the price. I use this to store my Steam & Epic Library and with there being no OS on there the boot times are super fast.

A very reliable hard drive which is excellent value

Bought as a backup drive to replace a ten year old WD 1Tb model which runs hot and noisy. This Seagate is whisper quiet and very cool to the touch in comparison. Esp when placed in its own external enclosure. Files transfer pretty quick via USB 3.0 too.

Have had disk active for a while and am impressed by speed of file access compared to my older 1Tb disks. The high RPM supplemented by 256MB cache contribute to this. Pros then are speed,quality of build plus lower energy use and the extra capacity is always a bonus. Cons are slight although the disk runs quietly on access there is a noticeable "growl" as it spins up, sports car fans my like this? I have not noticed it running any warmer than my current drive also a Seagate. Value per MB is excellent and at CCL prices it would be hard not to recommend.

I was amazed that during the lockdown, I received these HD's within 2 days of ordering at an excellent price, both work fine, my computer now has more capacity and is quicker.

Occasionally makes some noise/beeping (compared to before when I only had SSD installed). Came well packaged, but with no instructions on installation (it was my first time installing a HDD so I was a bit confused why it had 3 ports and whether I needed to plug into all of them, but I gather this is support for both older and newer power connection types). Overall I'm happy, but it'd be too soon to make comments on its long term health/reliability.

Bought this as basic storage - mainly for photos. 2tb for the price was good. No issues noted during use so far. Easy to install into the Phanteks p400a rgb case. Fitted into the quick release drawer provided by the case without issue. Would recommend.

Drive work, be warned these are SMR drives meaning they get slower as they fill up a lot slower I am using 4 of theses in backup NAS solution took me 4 days to copy 3.5tb of data to these drives they start off fast but will slow to as little at 12mb/s when 75% or more full they read just as fast as any other drive so are great for archival but again be warned these drives will be slow when doing lots of writes.

These hardrives are excellent as are CCL with a quick hassle free delivery service, I am certainly going to deal with them again. Kevinb

Simple drop-in replacement for a previous disk. Clone everything with Clonezilla, expand the partition in Windows and it's good to go. It's no SSD, but the large cache should help.

I am not a computer buff but someone who wanted to increase the storage on my computer to accommodate pictures and video take on a high resolution camera. After reading reviews I decided on this HDD. I installed it in my desk top computer with no problems and to date it is working well. Reliability was one of my requirements but I will not know if this item meets this requirement for several years.
