Great price on a fast drive

It's a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD as you are aware. It does the job. If you're coming from a hard drive then you will be blown away by this technology. However if you've used other M.2 NVMe drives you will find it underwhelming. It's OK, it's reliable, it's good value. The computer works nice and fast but it would since this is an SSD. The important point is that at 1TB you don't really need to fit any more storage to the computer. This is a very important point because getting users to save things on the D: drive is not easy. It should be possible to fit a 240GB SSD C: drive and a big fat 2TB HDD D: drive but the twits won't use it; "My C: drive's full, can you come and empty it for me?" Look at the pricing a 1TB HDD is 40 and 40 for a 240GB SSD = 80. Yet this 1TB SSD is less than 100. I'd say hard drives are only of use to those who need more than 2TB for their stuff and those people probably know how to use the D: drive.

I think this 660p nvme has the best balance of cost and speed, and backed up by a 5 year warranty, they've got a lot on offer here!

This was the first time I had installed an ssd in my pc and after cloning my old hard drive was amazed at the speed this booted up my computer over the old hard drive,I was going to go for a more expensive one at first which had faster read and write speeds but after watching a video on YouTube which said unless you were going to be transferring big files back and forth you wouldnt notice much difference in using a slower speed ssd so I got this one for about the same price but it has twice the capacity.I just use this for a faster startup of my computer and general day to day computing such as gaming etc for which I find it excellent

The best value for money at time of purchase, 89 for 1TB of NVMe SSD storage.

These are not as quick as the Samsung 970 EVO but then they really are a lot quicker than a SATA SSD of the same price. If you have an NVMe slot on your computer then definitely fit one of these before fitting a SATA SSD. In real life use once you're not using a HDD then SSDs are mostly about the same, even the super fast ones compared to the basic ones. There are other factors in the computer limiting performance. A 5 times faster SSD will let the computer boot 2 times faster, that's what I mean.

Absolutely amazing, an affordable m.2 that allows my computer to boot up fater than it takes for the BIOS setup.

To set the scene, my laptop has been frustrating me for a while because it was so slow to load up that I decided not to shut it down anymore. This caused more problems and I came across SSD upgrades and how they magically make everything better, sceptically I decided to check this out. My laptop does actually have an M2 slot inside too which I didnt know initially. After some research I decided I wanted to replace my HDD with a SSD and see if the claims were true. For a while I scoured the internet looking for a good quality SSD at a competitive price and then I came across this one (Intel 660p). I was a bit anxious about buying it as it was much cheaper than the Samsung equivalent but was so glad that I did. Its a brand I know and it works amazingly. I managed to clone my entire HDD to this SSD and now my laptop works much quicker. It loads from shut down in seconds compared to several minutes before. Im not much of a gamer but I have some games which operate very well. If youre looking to upgrade your laptop or PC then I would recommend intel 660p. The difference in performance is stark and the storage space is a bonus

Best bang for buck. 1TB of fast nvme storage at the price of a slower 2.5" SSD. If you are looking for a nvme SSD at a good price this is it.

First time ive worked with this type of solid state drive. Lightning fast and made a huge difference to my macbook air stopping me from having to buy a new one all together

Nice piece of kit, very easy to install. This is the first SSD I have brought, but the performance improvment far exceded my expectations. It was more expensive than a simillar sized HDD, but for around 100, well within budget. It may be twice the price of the HDD I had previously, the performance has increased by easily 8 times. I would recomend anyone running a HDD drive to upgrade to a SDD, one of the cheaper and easier upgrades out there, and with cloning software, there is no need to loose the data on your old drive.

spot on~I fitted it very easily, and it is fast memory, you may need the special screw and spacer as i did on my Asus motherboard, but they are readily available on ebay.

Great performance at a very reasonable price. Used as a boot drive and to load games, which it does incredibly fast. Literally shuts down in 2 seconds. Highly recommended.

This is a great product 5/5 but CCl computers is not where you should buy it unless you like spam emails. After purchasing this one item i received way to many emails begging for a review, IE:SPAM.

Excellent product, installation was a breeze

Excellent SSD at a good price. I had to buy a copy of Windows 10 to use it as a system drive but that was my bad (lack of research), glad I did though, I don. know why I clung on to Windows 7 so long now. Plenty of emails from CCL keeping me informed until it was delivered, which wasn't very long. I've read a few bad things people have said about CCL but I've purchased from them quite a few times and there has only been the odd minor hiccup.

The critics may not like it but for the ordinary joe soap its does what it says. Read and write files fast and reliably at a price I can afford.

Performance increase over a standard SSD - as long as you make sure you download the NVMe drivers. Very happy with my purchase - very easy to install and the performance increase was definitely worth it :)
