What is a CCL Horizon gaming PC?
Horizon is CCL’s in-house brand of high-performance, pre-built and customisable gaming PCs.
Our Horizon PCs have been designed by our team of master PC builders to offer excellent value, top-notch specifications, and incredible reliability and stability.
We know that gamers have their own personal preferences when it comes to component brands and types, so amongst our range of Horizon gaming PCs you’ll find models with Intel or AMD CPUs, AMD or NVIDIA GPUs, as well as models with different types and capacities of memory and storage.
In other words; no matter what you’re looking for in a gaming PC, there’s almost certainly a CCL Horizon gaming PC that’ll do the job!
What are the different types of CCL Horizon gaming PC?
With so many different Horizon PCs to choose from, how can you tell which model is right for you?
To help make selecting your perfect Horizon gaming PC easier, we’ve introduced a numbering system.
You’ll see Horizon 3, Horizon 5 and Horizon 7 variants.
These numbers refer to the type of CPU that the system contains. For example:
- Horizon 3 - will contain one of Intel’s Core i3 CPUs.
- Horizon 5 - will contain one of Intel’s Core i5 CPUs, or one of AMD’s Ryzen 5 CPUs.
- Horizon 7 - will contain one of Intel’s Core i7 CPUs.
As you would expect, the larger the number, the larger the performance capabilities of the Horizon PC.
These CPUs are matched with equivalent level components. So, for example, a Horizon 3 PC will contain an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, making it great for entry-level games that don’t demand too much system performance.
An Horizon 7 PC on the other hand will feature very high-level components such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU, meaning it’ll handle 4K gaming at high frame rates. So, you’ll be able to play the top AAA titles such as Doom Eternal or Cyberpunk 2077.
Can you customise a CCL Horizon gaming PC?
Yes! Whilst we build our systems with the perfect blend of components, we do realise that sometimes you’ll really want to make a system your own.
So, at CCL we give you the ability to easily customise our Horizon gaming PCs.
To customise your CCL Horizon gaming PC, simply click on the model you want and then navigate to the ‘Customise this PC’ tab in the product description.
Once you’ve clicked that, you’ll be presented with a range of customisation options.
You can scroll through the different components that can be upgraded. Click on them and you’ll be able to choose the type of upgrade you want (don’t worry, the costs of these upgrades are clearly labelled before you make them - so you can figure out if an upgrade is worth it or not).
Note - whilst many of our pre-built gaming PCs are available for next day delivery, customising your PC requires the CCL team to build your PC to order. As such, customised PCs will normally take around 4 to 5 working days to reach you once you have confirmed your order.

Where possible, we will deliver your PC the next day. However, customised PCs etc are built to order and as such will take around 4 to 5 working days to reach you.
