Excellent value for money, I would have preferred for the ram slots to be slightly further from the cpu fan, as I have a large heat sink. But for the price it is truly a great product

It was on offer when i got it, paired it with a ryzen 5 5600g, love the reinforced pcie slot, double m.2 and the led lights add a nice touch. Have no complaints about the vrm either , big heatsinks on top of them, didnt overclock but i think this board is an excelent board for a ryzen 5 if you want a atx form factor.

The lights on the motherboard isn't as nice as displayed on the box

It has been a great motherboard for the two months I have been using it so far. It was easy to install and the temperatures have always been good for the light gaming I have used it for. It has a lot of fan headers (six I think) so you you will be able to put as many fans as you want on it.

Solid feature set and performance and a good price. I was after a board that had great performance numbers and provided high end features but wasn't wanting to pay B570 prices. It also needed front panel USB 3.2 type C support. Any other manufacturer was charging 80+ more that. Has two 5v ARGB headers and a 12v RGB one for all your glowy case needs, a built in NVMe heatspreader for the primary Gen4 slot and overall great build quality (that I can tell). I just wish the "Dragon Center[sic]" app was a little less pants.

Brilliant clean looking motherboard

Fantastic board with a good range of features. I bought it primarily for the black pcb to work in a blacn & white build. easy setup and great support from MSI. partnered it with a 5600x so the usb flashback came in very handy to get the BIOS update completed to support the new CPU's

I picked this motherboard for my new gaming PC as it had the right balance of features and performance for my needs, building on it was really easy with everything clearly labelled and easily accessible on cable management. One of the biggest benefits was that as I was using a new 5600X it needed a BIOS update but thanks to the fast BIOS flash process it saved me having to get a donor CPU, this feature should be just a standard for everyone as it really saved my bacon.

I have choosen MSI motherboard for my new PC build. This is my second MSI motherboard and i was extremely happy from my previous Z170A M5 so the choice was simple for me. The quality of product is always good, easy to build new Pc on it (was doing that for a first time). Manual is simple and clear, many pictures showing how to put everything into one piece. QR codes with links for video guide on each page. Marks on motherboard are well visable, hard to do something wrong. 3x additional m.2 screws inside box. Bios is really easy to configure, one click to OC Ram, 2x modes (simple and advanced). Rgb is working well, you can easliy personalise it using Mystic light app. Generaly i am very happy of my new motherboard, the only negatives I can find after few days of using it is that only one m.2 slot has a shield as an extra cooling system but you can get 2nd buying higher model of motherboard. and price for this model could be a bit lower. I can easliy recommend this product.

Good vrms for my 5800x, includes a heatsink for one of the nvme slots and looks great compared to the other options in this price range.

Great motherboard

Nice motherboard. Had to flash an updated bios for the Ryzen 5600X to boot, but this was expected and was pretty easy with the Flash BIOS button. Also easy to set RAM speed to 3600MHz in the BIOS. Plenty of USB ports and USB-C front header too.

Great motherboard, has great compatibly with my DDR4 RAM and my Ryzen 5 5600x CPU. The settings in the BIOS menu are concise and easily accessible. Would recommend, no regrets at all! :D

Bought this to pair with my Ryzen 5 3600 and I couldn't have asked for a better motherboard, didn't have a single problem with it.

Picked this for my first PC build. Decided the B550 was likely to be the best option for future support if I wanted to upgrade the CPU in a couple of years. This board was an absolute joy to build with for my first time. Everything is in a logical place (to me anyway), the pre-fit IO shield on the back looks incredible and the subtle RGB lighting looks really smart. Features wise my main point was having dual m.2 drives, this board checked that box. I also have an MSI Radeon 5700xt Gaming X and MSI G24 monitor and have been thoroughly impressed with all their gear. Will 100% look to use more of their products in the future.

An awesome board, packed with features. I actually loaded the incorrect BIOS onto it, and it wouldn't boot - but with the flash back button on the back, you can rectify any problem like that. Comes with 2 SATA cables, a case sticker and a manual that takes you through the installation step by step. All software and drivers are available via the website. All in all, a great value board for a great processor. Well worth it.

Great quality B550 board, especially for the price. Great VRMs and heatsinks that can handle up to Ryzen 9, debugging LEDs for quickly checking any issues and some RGB for those interested in that. Feels like a great sweet spot board, for those looking to build a midrange to high-end gaming system.

Very happy with this MSI motherboard. Excellent quality and design and works great with my Ryzen. The dragon centre software that comes with it is fast and easy to use to monitor and adjust your hardware performance. Overall a great product that I would definitely recommend.

Great option for those looking for a B550 Motherboard. I chose the MSI B550 Gaming Plus ATX since it offered the best value for the features I wanted. This motherboard offered good VRM's and included USB 3.1 Gen2 header for front USB C support, which were my main requirements. Built in RGB lighting is nice and a good range of IO/Headers on the board, I especially liked that I didn't need an IO shield to install into my case- saved me some time and effort! Overall one of the better options compared to competitor models, offering more features and good value for money.

Easy installation - has worked absolutely fine with my Ryzen 7 3700x. The bios is easy to use especially with the EZ mode which outlines all the basics that you need. Mobo itself looks sleek and RGB is definitely a nice touch! Nice bonus is it actually comes with the Jrainbow RGB slots which means I can finally utilise the MSI fan which came with my Vampiric 010m. Recommend.
