The KO-25UC31 from Kolink is an external drive enclosure with a robust and lightweight aluminium housing and a SATA III connection. A 2.5“ drive with a height of up to 9.5 mm can be installed. Mounting of the SSD or HDD drive is tool-less and easy, the USB 3.1 (USB 3.2 Gen 2) connection is fast and backward compatible and flexible thanks to the two USB cables included.

The Kolink KO-25UC31 is an elegant external enclosure for 2.5“ drives. The slim case is made of black aluminium and therefore super lightweight and robust. This makes it ideal for mobile usage.

Inside, there is space for a drive with a height of up to 9.5 mm. This means that the enclosure can accommodate both large 2.5“ hard drives with plenty of storage space and fast 2.5“ SSDs. There is no capacity limit. Mounting the drive is tool-less, quick and easy. The SATA III connection allows data transfer rates of up to 6 Gbit/s.

The Kolink KO-25UC31 is connected to a free USB port via a USB 3.1 (USB 3.2 Gen 2) interface. For this purpose, two USB cables are included: one type A and one type C. Of course, the external enclosure is also backward compatible with the older USB standards 2.0 and 1.1.

The enclosure is only powered via USB, is Plug and Play compatible and doesn’t need any additional drivers and supports the UAS protocol.
