Fits the bill as a replacement perfectly - nice and easy to install (on 3 of 4 computers), prints on ethernet nice and quickly including from mobiles (good Brother iPrint app), then sits and quietly waits for the next job. Print quality is pretty good. Had an easy firmware update. No reason for only 4 stars except only 3 weeks experience to date.

This printer is an investment and I'd say it is worth the money. what i needed from a printer is reliability as well as the obvious print, scan, copy etc. It is good quality. Bear in mind it is heavy. I have recently moved house and its a heavy piece of kit to carry upstairs to an office on the 1st floor. Still its worth the effort.
