The PC works a lot faster

I received the item in a timely manner & my pc is up & running fantastic.

Good price for ssd and lightening fast on startup and shutdown.

The Crucial BX500 SSL was a huge speed boost to an old laptop with a slow 2.5" mechanical drive. I found it an easy job to clone the old drive using NIUBI Partition Editor (free version), via a SATA to USB cable, and then swap in the SSL. Very pleased all round.

Best Value for money. My PC is alot faster now.

Crucial BX500 2.5" 500GB SATA III Solid State Drive hi after shopping around a lot I found this hard dive (SSD) at the right price and its a Genuine Crucial BX500 and it was a very fast delivery and one more thing (SSD) its faster then stated on my system Read is 562mb and write 494mb (in crystal disk mark) and average boot time 15-25 seconds better then 5-8 minutes on old HDD and SSHD was 3-4 minutes and the transfer speed of new Crucial BX500 is about 178mb-650mb in 3-5 seconds

Maybe not the fastest SSD around, but exceptional value for money. Great for upgrading hard disks in older laptops.

I love it. I was gifted my sons laptop and it was quite slow to boot up etc. After I installed the new SSD it was like a new laptop.

Very happy with my purchase, it was the cheapest I could find online from a reputable retailer and I don't usually shop away from Amazon but it was worth it in this case. I'll be checking here for computer supplies in the future

Download the migration software, it detects you have a Crucial drive so no need to register, makes life a lot easier. Easy to migrate all data and Windows, Laptop now zooms along compared to before, get one.

I had problems on my desktop as it was running so slowly even it was reasonably high end, no viruses or malware was detected. A friend said try a ssd so I chose a Crucial 500..The Computer is now blazing fast boot up and shut down taking just a few seconds now. A highly recommended piece of kit.

Excellent value ssd used as a storage drive

The drive was installed in a legacy XP scada system. What difference trending data over time. Almost instantly onscreen. Recommend any one fits one.
