I am very pleased with this UPS; the build quality is good and I prefer the UK 3-pin sockets (same as on my similarly rated but no longer available Belkin model). Extremely easy to install and it's 720 Watt rating is able to support my home office with 3 PCs, a small server and all the communications (full fibre, 'phone service hub, router & mission-critical switches) 24/7, with plenty of power left (e.g. currently 2xPCs + LCD screens and 5 spinning drives, and the comms. is using about 230 Watts with 20 minutes of battery time available). Of course I don't plug the printers and laptops into the power-supported sockets. The software is easy to use and has a valuable email-notification feature for any power issues. There are some features however that I will probably never use (e.g. energy settings and reporting - why do I need to be told how much it's costing to run and how 'green' it is - I have to run it I have no choice). It is a bit disappointing though that, whilst the input voltage is displayed, the high/low voltage parameters for this model are not configurable; I have to assume the settings are predefined but I would at least like to know what they are. We have suffered particularly low voltages, below stipulated minimum, when after a major outage we were reconnected to the wrong local transformer that caused my old Belkin to keep randomly switching on/off battery power (it was only because of this we were able to report the issue). My only concern, at some future time, is the easy availability of replacement batteries. I have not been able to ascertain, other than CyberPower's unique code, the rating of the batteries. Maybe they are of a standard type or not and, if the latter, they are likely to be as expensive as a new UPS. And if that's the case I'll be looking elsewhere, which would be a pity, because I like this product!

I give international online training and needed to ensure continuity in the event of power loss, which has happened several times in past 12 months. Connected to the UPS outlets are: 3x24" monitors, Wacom One, Powered USB hub (driving mics, sound, camera & keyboard) Router, ONT and NUC. Total load circa 130w. This is a 750w unit which gives me around 30 mins working time (confirmed during testing). Our power outages are usually short, 15-20 mins, so this unit is sufficient for my needs. In normal operation, that is, when power is supplied to the UPS, the unit is silent. During power cut, the unit hums. The hum is not loud enough to be heard on the mic which is fine for me. The PowerPanel software is useful to monitor the current situation and to schedule on & off times. The build quality of the product is top class. The power lead at 1.5 metres and the USB lead at 1.0 metres could do with being longer, as this compromises UPS placement. All in all, great unit, highly recommended.
