Halo Infinite is one of the most perfect games for mobile gaming, with a minimum and recommended specification that has aligned it with great value laptop processors and GPUs. In 2022, more people are turning to laptop gaming, with the ever-impending doom of Covid-19 and the worldwide shift to remote & flexible working. As the uncertainty of the current GPU climate continues, and we await the start of the desktop GPU war between Nvidia, Intel and AMD, it makes a lot of sense to get your fill of Master Chief on a gaming laptop.
What Laptops Can Run Halo Infinite?
The minimum and recommended specification for playing Halo Infinite on a laptop rely on CPU, GPU and RAM, as you'd expect.
MINIMUM
- CPU: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4440
- RAM: 8 GB
- OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
- VIDEO CARD: AMD Radeon RX 570 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
- PIXEL SHADER: 5.1
- VERTEX SHADER: 5.1
- FREE DISK SPACE: 50 GB
- DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 4GB
RECOMMENDED
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k
- RAM: 16 MB
- OS: Windows 10 19H2 x64
- VIDEO CARD: Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070
- PIXEL SHADER: 5.1
- VERTEX SHADER: 5.1
- FREE DISK SPACE: 50 GB
- DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 8GB
CPUs at mid-tier level will all suffice, and you'll need 4GB - 8GB of RAM, so we're not looking at crazy specifications to play the game at a reasonable framerate, but a dedicated graphics card will get you into the 1080 High graphics settings.
The important thing to remember is that Halo Infinite requires a lot of VRAM to get the best out of it, and 8GB will be the ideal amount on the GPU. That said, 6GB graphics cards such as the GeForce RTX 2060 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 pack a punch and allow you to play at around 60FPS to 70FPS judging by benchmarks we're seeing on YouTube.
