September 2023

Works well. Easy to swap out myself. Does exactly what I want it to do.

September 2023

This cpu is good out of the box running at stock speeds and overclocks well, very impressed with overall performance.

July 2023

Good fast processor, copes with alll my gaming and work needs.

As these chips have been superceded by the 7 series chips they offer fantastic value, this is I think the 3rd system I've built with this cpu , I paired it with a rx6700xt this time having previously matched with a RTX3060ti , works very well

May 2023

CPU came with a broken pin. Filed support ticket 16/04 and yet to hear back from them

Ross

April 2023

I needed to update my computer, so I bought several components from CCL Computers, including B550 motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5700X processor & memory. All the parts were available from CCL & were really good value Delivery was very fast & they arrived together & were well packed and protected I was upgrading from an AMD FX8370 processor & I have noticed an immediate improvement in my system's responsiveness

Leon

April 2023

Very good processor, it may be slightly more expensive than its Intel counterpart however it works out cheaper over the course of the build, excellent performance very good for gaming, 3d modelling, video editing, compiling code, the list is endless, I would highly recommend

Pleiades

April 2023

Excellent value for money for an 8 core 16 thread CPU (180 at time of purchase), arguably a better deal than the more expensive 5800X as it runs cooler and requires less power, but boosts to pretty much the same frequency. Won't need to upgrade for the foreseeable future as I came from a measly 1600AF CPU!

James

February 2023

Ryzen 7 5700X a great CPU for the price for gaming good performance good value compared to the 5800x. Great service from CCL Computers site easy to navigate & check out was easy thank you CCL.

Justin

February 2023

Outstanding performance and quality of the processor, very happy with the product

Barnaby

January 2023

Dispatch was a bit delayed, but that was due to the Christmas rush, CCL have been great about it, thoroughly recommended

Very good product

These have came down in price in recent months still a solid performer for gaming if paired with a capable gpu

Jonathan

August 2022

Literally the best value for money at this price point. The CPU was a massive bottleneck for my computer and so this boosted my frames massively in Escape from Tarkov.

Olegs Kovalenko

August 2022

Excellent processor. Will get with all your needs.

Makes my development environment so much nicer. The IDE can now keep up with me.

This 5700X, combined with a B550-A Pro MSI motherboard, transformed my old gaming PC into the silent yet powerful beast that I've been missing since my old iMac GPU died several years ago. It may not be as slim and space-saving, but it absolutely flies when it comes to desktop applications (Windows and Linux dual boot), games and the Heaven / Valley benchmarks barely register on the CPU usage graphs. This should give several years of smooth computing, with an impressive reduction in power requirements too which is going to be more important than ever in the current energy price hikes (use MSI Afterburner to reduce GPU max. power as well, makes a huge difference to power draw for some games, with little to no visual impact; I run a GTX 1080). Combine also with a switch from mechanical to solid state drives - I fitted dual 1TB NVMe SSD drives to the motherboard to keep heat generation and noise down, while also providing a further massive speed boost to system responsiveness even over a SATA connected SSD.
